Get ready Ontario, it’s almost time to swap! That’s right, the Inland Empire Food Swap is coming back to the garden next month on May 31st from 10 am to 12 pm. Last time we has this event at the garden (in early March) we had a good turn out with "swappers" bringing a variety of items such as honey, produce, and nuts to name a few. Garden members mentioned what a great idea this was and how they would like the event to come around more often. So, what is the swap?
The IE Food Swap is a great opportunity to swap your homemade, homegrown, and foraged creations with other swap participants. There is no cash allowed at the food swap- your products become your currency. The event is free and everyone is welcomed to participate so long as you bring something that you made, grew, or foraged yourself. However, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. You can register and find more information about the event HERE. Hope to see you there!
